The Shaker style that so influenced Hans J. Wegner is clearly evident in the Carl Hansen CH36 Side Chair. In 1962, Wegner designed the CH36 dining Chair with a solid yet lightweight hardwood frame. The stringent lines of the frame make it exceptionally versatile in any rustic modern setting. It is paired with a similarly strong and lightweight seat made out of woven paper cord.
The legs of the CH36 dining Chair taper off slightly both towards the floor and, in the case of the rear legs, also towards the top, creating an elegant appearance.
